York city wants to abolish one way streets.

Once upon a time York had all two way streets then as the city was growing some wise leaders decided to make the main streets in York, one way.

Notice the reason for the change to one way: “Reduce complications at intersections, fewer turns are made and most of these can be made without crossing in front of traffic.” -”Double parked vehicles and other obstructions can be by-passed.” -”Slower moving traffic can be put into a lane of its own and by-passed by (continue reading…)
